Activities
Competition ski boats pull campers twice daily to instruct beginners and also teach the advanced techniques of slalom course, trick skiing, barefooting, and wakeboarding. Water skiing is a terrific confidence builder and lots of fun!
Sailing - Campers learn sailing terms, parts, knots, tacking, and rigging while sailing a Sunfish sailboat! After they achieve the top rank, they sail our 17' Hunter! They continue to learn the points of sailing and basic racing which gives the campers the feeling of independence, sailing with their knowledge and the wind.
Canoeing - Campers experience teamwork in learning to paddle, launch, and maneuver the canoe. We play games and take adventure canoe trips to increase our skills and knowledge! After they achieve our top rank, they move on to kayaking.
Archery - Exciting bulls-eyes keep all campers ready to shoot their arrows, achieving different levels from various distances! Archery is the great equalizer in enabling each camper to use strength and focusing skills to achieve greater skills!
Teambuilding - A series of individual and group activities that require physical, mental, and emotional teamwork aid the campers in learning to interact in a positive, supportive, and encouraging manner while problem solving. This is done on a low elements ropes course. We also have a 300' zip line and 45' climbing wall.
Swimming - Swimming is not instructed, and simply a time for the campers to have fun in the water. Each camper may daily choose to swim and/or blob. The blob is a blast! As a camper jumps from a tower to the blob below, another camper is launched from the other end into the air and water!

Night Owls
Campers who are at least 13 years old in 2008 will be known as Night Owls. When younger camper are taking showers, the Night Owls will be participating in activities designed especially for their age group. The Night Owls also have a later "lights out" time.
C.I.T.
Those campers who are 15 years old prior to their CIT session, may participate in the C.I.T. program. This program is for old and new campers who think they might want to apply to be a counselor the following year. Each C.I.T. will choose to "drop" two classes out of sailing, canoeing, or archery. During those two periods, the C.I.T.s will plan games, activities, and songs which they will lead in the evening. They will learn about teaching skiing and actually practice with each other. They will assist in two classes, learning from other counselor methods of teaching and helping the younger campers. They will become aware of self esteem building techniques, life guarding requirements, and many other aspects of becoming a counselor! This is a unique experience when our older campers have a terrific time bonding and experiencing exciting times together.
